By summer of 2010 the US will disintegrate, according to a prediction by a former Russian KGB analyst. This prediction was made in 1997. Prof. Igor Panarin is a 50-year-old former KGB analyst and a dean of the Russion Foreign Ministry’s academy for future diplomats.
Claiming that he did not dislike the US, Panarin said that there was a 45-55% chance that the disintegration will occur. Mass immigration, economic decline and moral degradation will trigger civil war and the collapse of the dollar.
Here is a gist of his prediction:
Around the end of June 2010, or early July, he says, the U.S. will break into six pieces — with Alaska reverting to Russian control.
He based the forecast on classified data supplied to him by FAPSI analysts, he says. He predicts that economic, financial and demographic trends will provoke a political and social crisis in the U.S. When the going gets tough, he says, wealthier states will withhold funds from the federal government and effectively secede from the union. Social unrest up to and including a civil war will follow. The U.S. will then split along ethnic lines, and foreign powers will move in.
California will form the nucleus of what he calls “The Californian Republic,” and will be part of China or under Chinese influence. Texas will be the heart of “The Texas Republic,” a cluster of states that will go to Mexico or fall under Mexican influence. Washington, D.C., and New York will be part of an “Atlantic America” that may join the European Union. Canada will grab a group of Northern states Prof. Panarin calls “The Central North American Republic.” Hawaii, he suggests, will be a protectorate of Japan or China, and Alaska will be subsumed into Russia.
Americans hope President-elect Barack Obama “can work miracles,” he wrote. “But when spring comes, it will be clear that there are no miracles.”
When in September 1998, he attended a conference in Linz, Austria, with 400 fellow delegates, he first presented his prediction of the US Collapse and disintegration in 2010. When he showed a map showing the disintegrated US, hundreds of people cried out in surprise.

Although the prediction about the US disintegration is rather hard to believe, there has been a prediction by Gerald Celente, CEO of Trans Research Institute, the same person who prophesied about the monetary crisis in Asia, back in 1997. He predicted food riots, tax riots and revolution and job riots in the US and he said over an interview on FOX BUSINESS NEWS. To see the video of the interview, click here.

With so much going in the US, it is hard to tell what will really be going on in the future. I hope a split will not happen. It could be the end of the entire US in my opinion.

Well, his ideas seem to be a bit far fetched. He more or less divided up the US in four equal sized parts without regards to cultural differences.
Utah together with Washington and California? Pu-leeze!
And the Alaska going to Russia thing is one of their little wet fantasies…
