As I was browsing for the latest news in the internet, I bumped into an interesting website that reports their touring activities throughout America in order to bring free financial advice to the people of America. The NAPFA Consumer Education Foundation has been touring from border-to-border and coast-to-coast with a bus since October 2008 and they will still be on the road until June 2009.
The team consists people from 3 different organization who are all concerned about the financial well-being of the country. These organizations are the National Association of Personal Finance Advisors, Consumer Foundation Education, TD Ameritrade Institutional and the Kiplinger Personal Finance magazine. The personal finance touring aims to educate people on the need to save and promote the need of financial literacy.
To read more about what they’re doing and when they will come and visit your city, go here to their website YourMoneyBus.com.
