It would be good to have a set consolidation plan for all payday loans and not just the ones done online. It’s funny how when it suits critics to treat these loans like traditional loans, like with the APR, they are happy to do so, but when it doesn’t suit their needs then they say they are different. Loans are loans and should be able to get included into a consolidation, but seeing how there is different laws for each state it will be some time before we have a consolidated plan in dealing with payday loans.

Great information. Debt Consolidation is definitely much preferred over claiming bankruptcy. However, if you’re constantly using pay day loans then there’s definitely other financial troubles. Consolidating your debt may only be band-aide to a much bigger cut then originally expected. Credit counseling may be recommended.
Either way work hard at keeping your finances together.
