A few months ago I wrote a post about the economic prediction of Gerald Celente who said that the newly elected President Obama at the time can not do anything to avoid the brewing revolution in America. He forecasted food riot, tax riot and all other dark things like that, with the deeper and longer depression that has ever happened in history. He forecasts that there is no recovery. There will be a time when Americans do not go shopping during the holiday season as they would be thankful enough to even have food on the table.
Celente predicted higher crime rates because when people have nothing left to lose they would do just anything merely to survive. It sounds pretty dark and depressing. But judging from what people are going through and what is on the news lately he seems to be right on target.
Just look at the news in 2009:
- Crime rates increase in the US suburbs as they become ghost towns because of foreclosures
- An elderly man commits bank robbery because of mortgage
- Mortgage fraud increasing
- Debt collector hounds debtor to death
- Unemployment rate rising
Here is the interview with Gerald Celente, explaining why there will be no recovery for America.

I agree things are dark, but I don’t think they are as dark as this man says. I read an article the other day where a bunch of professionals agreed that we’re actually out of the recession technically at this point, but that doesn’t mean we’ll feel it for a while (and we’ll probably dip down again into a recession again, based on what I’ve read about this happening in the past) but I think in a few years things will get better.
