No matter if economic analysts say that America is recovering, trends forecaster Gerald Celente says that the current economic rebound is only an artificial blip created by “phantom money printed out of thin air backed by nothing.” The American people is warned to prepare themselves for the greatest depression in history ever. This great depression will eventually hit other countries worldwide and mark the destruction of empire America. Devastating crop failures could be among the minor concerns only.

In 2012, the trend forecaster says that America will experience food riots, tax protests, farmer rebellions, student revolts, squatter diggins, homeless uprisings, tent cities, ghost malls, general strikes, bossnappings, kidnappings, industrial saboteurs, gang warfare, mob rule, and terror. Although there is a recent surge in Wall Street indexes, it is still below the 14,000 level of the time prior to the crash and therefore the surge should not be any reassurance for anyone.
Gerald Celente still holds on to his statement a while ago that there is and will not be any recovery because what the American government has really done in todays economy is merely a cover-up and not a solution. This is “much bigger” than an economic collapse, he said. “This is the decline of empire America.” He pointed out about what happened to the dollar and that gold prices are continueing to surge. The Obamageddon will eventually double the price of gold. This fact is the only fact that the American people should believe and trust. Whatever people say in Wall Street or Washington is only rhetoric.

Recently, during the Radio America/ WND interview, Gerald Celente said during retail sales this coming Christmas season will be the real nail in the economic coffin. “The second American revolution has already begun; it just hasn’t been announced yet by the mainstream media,” he said. “Anybody waiting for hope to show up at the door with a big bag full of money is going to be in for a shock.”

Shockingly, what he calls the ‘decline of empire America’ that is happening today is only a result of policies that have been taken far beyond even what Bush took with the TARP program. The stimulus package, with the buyouts, with the bailouts, the rescue packages, these are all unprecedented in American history.

“Never before has so much phantom money been printed out of thin air, backed by nothing, producing practically nothing,” Celente continued. “You don’t even have to be a student of history to know the outcome of this. All you have to do is have your eyes open, and start thinking for yourself.”

There is also a forecast regarding the possibility of a civil war. If you would like to see what Main Street America will look like in 2012,  go ahead and “drive around Detroit. Look at all the blown out houses and empty neighborhoods. Look at the violence that’s increasing. … Look at the types of heinous crimes being committed by people – some blowing their whole families away…”
